Startup Weekend is an immersion event –a unique experience where entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs can discover if their startup ideas are workable. Through Startup Weekend, entrepreneurs get a platform to share their ideas, form diverse teams, and launch their startups over the course of a weekend.
Startup Weekend Women is a special edition of the event focusing on women’s participation. The event proposes that at least 75% of the participants, mentors, and organizers be women. The purpose of this special edition is to foster female entrepreneurship and encourage the creation of women-owned businesses. It is also to inspire more female leaders in startup teams and to connect more women to the resources and mentors available in startup communities.
Seven incubate ideas participated in this event and worked 03 days on a Startup “Laundry Check-in” with full passion.
They conduct many surveys for their startup by going on ground and physical visits to target audiences. They also approached Mr. Ghazaal, COO-Saylani, and made him agree to seed investment in their startup.
